In this day and age, anyone with a microphone and a laptop can record themselves at home. On the other end of the spectrum, North Carolina has some amazing, top of the line recording studios. At Both Worlds, we see ourselves as somewhere in the middle. Recording at a top at a studio can get expensive really quickly, and on top of that, “red light syndrome” can happen when recording under pressure. Recording at home can be easy and casual, but actually proves very difficult to get good and professional results.
 
We provide a comfortable environment that feels like home, but provides an outside set of experienced ears to handle the recording responsibilities, so you can focus 100% on your creativity and performance.
 














We have a live room comfortable for a four piece band, a separate acoustically tuned mixing /control room, a vocal booth with options for a dead sound or natural reverb, and a smaller side room for guitar amps. Our studio is surrounded by beautiful oaks and a lovely koi pond you can sit beside to charge your batteries.
 
We offer: privacy, free parking, and a fridge full of carefully curated beverages and snacks.
